Use this manual to make centre operations repeatable for every committee member, staff member, and volunteer.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- Confirm the page already exists before creating a duplicate guide.
- Keep content practical and action-focused.
- Write for someone running the task for the first time.
Standard guide structure
Section titled “Standard guide structure”Every process guide should include:
- Purpose
- Required inputs and materials
- Step-by-step instructions
- Troubleshooting
- Escalation contact
- Last reviewed date
Documentation ownership
Section titled “Documentation ownership”- Committee roles pages are maintained by the Secretary.
- Activity process pages are maintained by the relevant club lead.
- Safety and incident procedures are reviewed monthly by the Chair and Facilities Lead.
Review cycle
Section titled “Review cycle”- Review high-use process pages monthly.
- Review role pages quarterly and after committee elections.
- Update pages immediately after any policy or booking process change.
